In 2009, in the midst of the challenging circumstances I faced while trying to successfully transition from my college basketball career, I laid on the floor upstairs in my apartment that had no furniture or a bed to sleep on and promised that if I ever figured out how to be successful, I would try my best to help others do the same. 

As an introvert that had to learn how to communicate and relate to others, the last thing I thought I would be doing with my life is helping others through keynote speaking, coaching, and workshops, but I do it because of that promise I made over a decade ago when I couldn’t afford a bed to sleep on.
